Apple Computer introduced the Macintosh-based PICT file format in 1984. The PICT file format is a graphics file interchange that supports bitmap and vector images. PICT also supports Run Length Encoding and JPEG compression to reduce large file sizes. They originally designed the PICT format to exchange graphics between Macintosh Applications. We later expanded the PICT file formats to include compatibility with QuickDraw applications and Windows-based PCs. This meta-format is being rapidly phased out and replaced with TIFF, PDF, and EPS file formats. The few remaining users of this aging technology store PICT files with the .pict, .pct, and .pic extensions.
Enter a file, then click “Convert.” The additional options can be used to alter a file. Download the resulting PICT file after processing.
All operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS, Linux, iOS, and Android, can use the converter. Our servers process each and every file. You don't need to install any plug-ins or applications.
After twenty-four hours, we instantly delete your uploaded and/or converted files. Your privacy is guaranteed 100%, and no one has access to your information.
