A PCD file is created when you scan images using Kodak Photo scanning hardware and then store those images on a photo CD. The resolution of these scanned PCD files on the photo CD is usually 3072 x 2048 pixels, but you can use Kodak's Pro Photo CD service to scan them at a larger size - 6144 x 4096 pixels. Regardless of the pixel size, 24-bit color is utilized. The encoding is based on gamma transformed YCC coding. You can open PCD files with ACD Systems Canvas 15 or ACDSee 17, Corel PaintShop Pro X6 or WordPerfect Office X7, or Apache OpenOffice.
Enter a file, then click “Convert.” The additional options can be used to alter a file. Download the resulting PCD file after processing.
All operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS, Linux, iOS, and Android, can use the converter. Our servers process each and every file. You don't need to install any plug-ins or applications.
After twenty-four hours, we instantly delete your uploaded and/or converted files. Your privacy is guaranteed 100%, and no one has access to your information.
