A JNX file is a specific type of file used by Garmin GPS units. The file format contains a raster map that divides the map into smaller rectangles to improve map rendering on the screen of a GPS unit or computer mapping software. The way the raster map works enables a large number of map layers to be quickly read and rendered on a screen. A JNX file also contains information about the Garmin GPS unit that created it, but the file format is locked, so a JNX file cannot be created using a different raster map. The proprietary nature of JNX files makes their use infrequent, although there are commercial mapping software solutions that can read these files. This enables users to display the file contents on a computer screen, rather than needing to use one of the specific Garmin GPS units that are designed for creating and using these files.
Enter a file, then click “Convert.” The additional options can be used to alter a file. Download the resulting JNX file after processing.
All operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS, Linux, iOS, and Android, can use the converter. Our servers process each and every file. You don't need to install any plug-ins or applications.
After twenty-four hours, we instantly delete your uploaded and/or converted files. Your privacy is guaranteed 100%, and no one has access to your information.
