An ODP file is an OpenOffice and LibreOffice Presentation file used for presentations created using these software suites, though compatible with programs that open PPT/PPTX files such as Microsoft PowerPoint; however some features such as SmartArt and transition sounds may not translate as seamlessly across these two applications. ODP file formats are part of the OpenDocument family of standards and managed by a Technical Committee within OASIS, comprising representatives from different organizations and industries - including many developers of office suites or related document systems such as Sun or IBM who may hold significant voting power on this committee. Microsoft Office allows users to easily open an ODP file by selecting the File tab and clicking Open in the Vertical ribbon. This opens a dialog box called Browse which allows them to find and select their ODP file before clicking Open. If you plan to send your presentation to someone using Apache OpenOffice or LibreOffice only, consider saving it in ODF format instead of pptx to ensure they can view your presentation properly. In addition, avoid advanced object formatting or transition effects which aren't supported in ODF like Blast/Flash bulb animation; tables saved this way are converted to images which cannot be edited subsequently.
Upload a file, click "Convert", and use additional options to quickly modify its contents before downloading the final ODP file after processing has completed.
Our ODP converter works on Windows, Mac OS, Linux, iOS and Android systems alike - our servers automatically process each file without requiring you to install plug-ins or applications!
We guarantee 100% of the privacy and have no access to your files once uploaded/converted, making them inaccessible by anyone and completely protecting them.
