A file with an MP2 extension is a type of audio file. MP2 was created in the mid-90s after the release of MP1 by the ISO's Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) in an attempt to standardize the digital encoding of audio and video files. It has an MPG Layer II compression, but is different from MPEG-2 video files, which use the MPG extension. A smaller compression ratio than MP3 has made MP2 files less popular, although they are still used in digital television and digital radio broadcasts. You can open an MP2 file with RealNetworks RealPlayer Cloud or VideoLAN VLC Media Player (Windows, Mac, or Linux), Apple iTunes or Adobe Audition (Windows or Mac), or Microsoft Windows Media Player or PeonySoft MP2 Converter (Windows).
Enter a file, then click “Convert.” The additional options can be used to alter a file. Download the resulting MP2 file after processing.
All operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS, Linux, iOS, and Android, can use the converter. Our servers process each and every file. You don't need to install any plug-ins or applications.
After twenty-four hours, we instantly delete your uploaded and/or converted files. Your privacy is guaranteed 100%, and no one has access to your information.
