FAP files are used by ACD Systems' ACD FotoAngelo program for saving projects to FAP formats as a back up option for use later. To open a FAP file you require specific software such as FotoAngelo from ACD Systems Ltd or another slideshow and screen saver creator such as Showtime from Sybase Inc or similar slideshow program. Failing that, an error message in Windows may display or you might get an alert message via your iPhone/Android phone/Mac computer/etc. On Linux, to open a FAP file you can use VideoLAN VLC media player software or any of the other available free and paid programs that support it. Clicking on any software name will download an appropriate version for your operating system; once installed double-clicking any FAP file will open it.
